Since 2013 John, Kevin and Helen headed projects in Ingestre Woods with the support of The Conservation Volunteers. Over the last couple of years pathways have been upgraded, new apple orchard, refurbishment of the original pond, new fencing, nest boxes, new seats, new bins and general habitat improvements which are always on-going.

UPDATE

The TRA committee continue to work with Camden departments to resolve issues around insurance and a licence to open Ingestre Woods which has delayed opening to the general public. This was an oversight by the core members of the committee when setting out on the project to get the woods open and not picked up until end of May 2025. As soon as we can open the woods we'll let everyone know.

During summer 2025 our disabled seating was installed as well as some essential tree works carried out by the tree surgeons. Autumn 2025 thousands of bulbs have been planted in the woods and across the estate. Winter '26 we'll be putting in a new mixed native hedgerow along the fence line.
