CAMDEN NATURE CORRIDORE
Please see below and respond as the policy also effects Ingestre Woods should you have any feedback positive or negative.
Dear Friends,
Thanks again for your support for the Camden Nature Corridor. It is now included in the draft Camden Local Plan and has a real chance of being adopted (click here to see entire Plan). But this is just a draft, and there is presently much debate in the government about nature conservation being bad for housing development. There is little evidence that this is true, and the Camden Nature Corridor shows how the two can be combined to benefit our communities.
We need to make sure that the Corridor remains in the final Camden Local Plan, which will run from 2026 to 2041, and to show Camden that we care. Would you be willing to make a short submission of support to the Local Plan Consultation? The deadline for submission is 5PM on 27 June.
The Consultation process is straightforward (see here) and Council provides a Representation Form for submissions (click here). But you may find it easier to just send an email to planningpolicy@camden.gov.uk. You need to give them your name and address and say what policy/paragraph your comment relates to, whether your comment is in support/objection to the policy and your reasons for supporting/objecting to the policy.
Working together to stop anti-social behaviour
We know that anti-social behaviour can impact the quality of life for Camden residents, and by working together with our Community Safety Team we can make Camden a safer place for everyone.
Anti-social behaviour is any behaviour that makes you feel unsafe, or that you feel might make other people unsafe. This might be drug use or dealing, threatening behaviour, abuse or vandalism and property damage.
Every incident of anti-social behaviour you report will help us to identify those involved and take action against them, or provide them with the right support if needed.
Help us to keep our communities safe by reporting anti-social behaviour.

Camden Council had a meeting for TRA's etc. to 'meet the heads of departments in May'. Please click here to read the presentation from the housing department that gave the presentation. Committee member Pete attended some of the meeting should you wish to ask him any questions when you see him around the estate or go to our contact page here.
